Roberta d'Eustachio (Rd'E) is an entrepreneur obsessed with delivering media from the philanthropists point of view. That desire led to founding
The American Benefactor, the first consumer magazine for philanthropists as well as the ongoing evolution of
Giving Magazine, a hard-copy and iPad publication in development and now a cornerstone of the AmbassadorsForPhilanthropy.com website.
As a philanthropic advisor, Rd'E has consulted with leading global brands, including The Economist, the Financial Times and The World Bank as well as philanthropists, social enterprises and non-profits around the world.
In addition to her work as the leader of the Ambassadors website, Rd'E is the chief of staff to the British government's founding Ambassador for Philanthropy, Dame Stephanie Shirley.
Brian Lipscomb
Chief Technologist
Brian Lipscomb has been involved with technology for over twenty years, and founded technology services company Divergex, based in the Sacramento area of California. Specializing in all aspects of computers, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Ambassadors For Philanthropy project. His philosophy is: “Do it right, or don’t do it at all.”
Lipscomb adds: “Technology is a constantly evolving industry. People who use technology daily don’t have the time to study and learn all of the new and different terms and capabilities. I work to show people how technology can improve their efficiency, productivity and, ultimately, their lives.”
Nick Cater
Senior Editor
Strongly focused on philanthropy and non-profits, Nick Cater is a UK-based independent international writer, editor and consultant. A former Fleet Street journalist, he has reported from more than 40 countries so far on stories as diverse as war in Africa, environmental risks in Latin America, disasters in Europe, and the Asian sport of elephant polo. Cater has worked with and advised a wide range of organisations both global and local, from the International Red Cross to the World Bank and Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Joe Kester
Senior Designer and Strategist
Joe's career has been communication, graphic design, and technology. After building and running a digital studio at advertising agency Lowe & Partners/SMS, Joe was a project manager at a leading Silicon Alley Web developer. Recently, Joe has been running his own business designing and building Web sites.
Joe's experience with the field of publishing and philanthropy spans more than ten years. He was the second angel investor in The American Benefactor Magazine, the first consumer magazine for philanthropists, as well as performing as founding senior designer for the publication.
Felicity Chadwick-Histed
Senior Strategist
Felicity has 13 years experience of the voluntary & public sectors at director level. In addition to her consultancy role, Chadwick-Histed is a trustee of the Richmond Youth Partnership and also a founder trustee of London charity The Bridge for Social Communication [which assists autistic children], and a Governor of Marjory Kinnon School, Hounslow. She has an Msc in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School.
Her past experience includes being a co-founder & director of Public Technology Ltd, and director roles for the The Royal Free Hampstead Charitable Trust, Citizens Advice and the Samaritans. Chadwick has a long history of successful direction of fundraising, sales and marketing.
Francesco Maria Giacomini
Media and
Technology Consultant
Born in Italy, Ascoli Piceno, about 27 years ago, Francesco received a masters in Superior Education with a specialization in Modern Arts. A character and a restless experimenter, he is experienced in all kinds of arts with a particular speciality in the visual arts (film and digital photography) and music (new media and electronic composition).
Francesco lives in London and never sleeps.
Riccardo Fabiani

Riccardo Fabiani is a political analyst on North African affairs for Exclusive Analysis and has previously published for the Power and Interest News Report (PINR) and Equilibri.net. He holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
David Hawkins

David Hawkins is the Executive Director of Arts for India a charity which raises funds to develop the Delhi-based International Institute of Fine Arts into the first private university of the arts in India. He formally worked for a leading London-based US philanthropist advising on philanthropy strategy and communication. He is Chairman of the Programme and Development Committee of Benjamin Franklin House as well as a board member of various international companies such as Larmiar Stone, ETHICS and is an advisor to Focused Philanthropy, a bespoke philanthropy advisory service. He is also a Fellow and Trustee of Respublica, a think tank launched by Phillip Blond to build the big society, philanthropy playing a central role in this.
Jessica Lambrakos
Director of Global Social Media
Jessica is responsible for the creation, management and development of our mission by delivering a consistent voice globally through the power of social networks.
Jessica has worked with a number of non-profits both in the United States and abroad. She has worked extensively on fundraising and event planning as well as writing grants and establishing education programs . She also serves as founder and executive director of her own non-profit, “The Naked Truth AIDS Project”, which raises money for AIDS prevention education programs in the United States as well as Africa.
Nichole Martini
Chief of Philanthropy Research
Nichole joined the team in 2011 as the Chief of Philanthropy Research. She will provide Ambassadors for Philanthropy with research and ideas surrounding current global philanthropy and will support the organization's efforts to convene donors internationally.
Nichole brings with her knowledge and experience gained at NYU in the Masters of Science in Fundraising and Philanthropy program, nonprofit work in New York City, and research conducted about the field of philanthropy.
WANTED: Journalists/Writers
Giving philanthropists a voice to inspire others to give, and to consider how to give strategically, is a vital part of The Ambassadors for Philanthropy web site and Giving Magazine, its media publication.
We need great writers from around the world.
We need writers that can get interviews with high profile philanthropists and, where possible, to also video or audio record the interview or portions of the interview.
